Besides clinical work and teaching of Ethiopian health professionals, CBCF is also committed to help developing a burn prevention program in Ethiopia. This noble vision is one of the objectives that CBCF decided to include in its activity profile years ago.
Time has come for CBCF to take the necessary steps in order for the charity to implement what needs to be done in Ethiopia. Although surgical intervention will continue in order to reduce the misery for many burn victims, an efficient burn prevention work is of greatest importance for the society as a tool to reduce the risk of contracting this devastating injury that cripples so many lives in Ethiopia.
